What It Is
Combined surface techniques — hand-painted imagery and thread embroidery applied directly to your garment. Can be used separately or layered together for depth and dimension. Motifs are drawn from architecture, typography, nature, and original artwork. Every piece is designed for your specific garment — nothing is templated, nothing is repeated.
Easy commissions ($75) cover single-element work — a painted pocket, a small embroidered motif. Medium ($150) handles larger compositions and multi-technique applications. Complex commissions ($250+) are full-garment or narrative pieces requiring extended design and application time.
How It Works
Step 1 — Consult
Submit your garment details, reference images, and design direction. We confirm scope, technique approach, pricing tier, and timeline before anything begins.
Step 2 — Craft
Your garment ships to us or drops off in NYC. Surface work is applied entirely by hand — paint is set and sealed, embroidery is finished and secured. You'll receive a mid-point update for larger commissions.
Step 3 — Handover
Your finished piece ships back with a digital Origin & Care Card documenting the design, materials, pigments or thread sourcing, and care instructions specific to the techniques used.
