The Forest Green Compote
Two pieces of the same forest green pressed glass — a footed compote and a matching flat plate, both in the embossed grape and leaf pattern that defined a decade of American table and interior styling.
The compote is wide and shallow with a short pedestal foot, scalloped rim, and relief grape clusters pressed deep into the glass. The plate matches in color and motif, with a gently scalloped edge and small petal feet. Together they compose a serving set. Separately they work just as well — the compote as a fruit bowl or display vessel, the plate as a catch-all or decorative tray.
Consistent with Indiana Glass “Harvest” pattern or similar American pressed glass production of the 1960s–70s — the avocado and forest green colorway is the signature of that interior moment. The color against warm wood or a dark shelf is immediate.
Sold as a set of two.
