The Brass Eyeball Lamp
A polished brass eyeball spotlight in full working condition. The form is an arch dome over a cylinder body with a pivoting spherical head that rotates to direct light — the defining lamp vocabulary of the Italian Space Age interior. Mirror-finish brass throughout. The eyeball head has a blue-painted reflector cup interior. Original braided fabric cord.
The design language places this firmly in the 1960s–70s Italian lighting tradition — consistent with production from Goffredo Reggiani, Targetti Sankey, or a contemporaneous manufacturer working in the same idiom. Unattributed but completely correct in form, finish, and proportion.
Fully functional. No rewiring needed. The kind of lamp that changes the quality of a room rather than just lighting it.
